Meet Steven

I joined Equitable Advisors in July of 1999 as the Long Island Branch’s Director of Financial Planning where I was responsible for the implementation of the fee-based financial planning strategic initiative and the training of over 200 financial professionals. In July of 2002, I was promoted to Divisional Vice President where I recruited, trained and developed new associates entering the business. In 2004, I decided to devote my full attention to servicing clients and expanding my financial services practice.

As a financial professional since 1984, I have dedicated myself to making a difference in the lives of my clients. My job is to listen to client needs and objectives and design a financial plan, taking into consideration client risk tolerance and time horizon, to help achieve their financial goals. In addition to working with my clients I am also the VIP Program Consultant for the independent contractor sales associates affiliated with NRT LLC. NRT's brands include Coldwell Banker, Sotheby’s International Realty and the Corcoran Group.

Prior to joining Equitable Advisors, I worked with Citibank as a financial planning specialist with clients of its Private Bank, Citigold and select retail banking branches. Prior to Citibank I also spent five years with Prime Capital at the New York County Medical Society offering comprehensive financial planning services to their physician clients and members respectively.

I received a BBA degree from Hofstra University in 1982. In 1987, I earned a Certified Financial Planner designation. I currently reside with my wife and two children in Commack, New York.
